A great deal of external resources are available as well : links, telephone numbers, national and close-to-home contacts and adresses, shelters and social residential centers, are reachable from this page. A unique aspect of this site is its interactivity : everyone who emails with personal questions or requests for advice, in French or English, will be answered within a few days. Some of the questions, messages and answers are regularly published on line, sometimes with emails from women who want to get in touch with other women (in that case, we recommend to create an anonymous email address ... Also, we never make an email public without clear and complete agreement from the owner, of course). Information about SOS Femmes Accueil, the NGO that manages the site, is fully presented on the site. The team is primarily in charge of a center that can receive and shelter up to 50 women (with children if so). Compared to our daily work with women, the site is an extra ... but was created by people who know the field extremely well ...
